William A. (Jack) Pearson, a well known resident of Wickenburg for the past quarter of the century, died Christmas morning in Community Hospital here. He had been in ill health for some time and in failing eyesight for several years.

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Wickenburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Gus Tuttle officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery with the Masonic Lodge conducting its graveside service.

Mr. Pearson was a painting and plastering contractor here for many years, giving up that work when his health no longer permitted it. He was a native of Texas where he was born December 5, 1892.

He has two sisters, living out of state, and a granddaughter, Geraldine Burge of Yarnell.
