| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Az November 11, 2005 Darrell R. Magnuson Visitation for Mr. Darrell R. Magnuson, age 62, who passed away in his home, was held Sunday (Nov. 13) from 5-8 p.m. at Frey-Wickenburg Funeral Home. Services were held Monday (Nov. 14) at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ed Wessling officiating. Interment and concluding services followed at Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Darrell was born in Two Harbors, Minn., and attended elementary school there, moving to the Phoenix area as a teenager. He graduated from Sunnyslope High School, and following high school he began driving a truck as an owner/operator. Recently, he had been working with Jones Ford in Wickenburg. Darrell was an avid auto-racing fan. He and Patti traveled extensively following the racing circuits, NASCAR, USAC of Open Wheel and Stock Cars throughout the United States. They were well known in the auto racing circuit nationwide. Darrell enjoyed various types of music and both he and Patti shared a mutual interest in their music. Darrell is survived by his wife Patti of Wickenburg. He was preceded in death by his son Dennis Magnuson in 1997. See Also: Find a Grave |
