Prima G. Rea

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Prima G. Rea on Friday, Nov. 11 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Aguila with Fr. George Highberger as celebrant. There was an all-night vigil at the family home on Thursday evening.

Mrs. Rea was born in San Juan de Los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico, to Hipolito Gallardo and Nemecia Torres. She was raised there and moved to Nogales, Sonora, at the age of 18.

There she married Felizardo Herrera. She later came to El Mirage in 1990.

Mrs. Rea had worked in agriculture for many years and was a homemaker.

She married David Rea in 1992, and they made their home in Aguila. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Aguila.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Felizardo Herrera.

She is survived by children Miros Hamilton of Aguila, Carlos Herrera, Luis Gallardo, and Jesus Herrera all of Nogales, Sonora; Elvira Herrera and Alicia Hernandez, both of Aguila; Ernesto Herrera of Nogales, Ariz.; Claudia Herrera of El Mirage, Ariz.; and 11 step-children. She is also survived by brothers Juan Gallardo, Samuel Gallardo, and Noel Gallardo all of Peoria, Ariz.; 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
