Eldon Glen (Tim) Archibald

Eldon Glen "Tim" Archibald, 77, died June 21, 2003.

He was born in Beaver Dam, Utah. Tim served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After being discharged he went to work for Mountain Bell where he worked as a line foreman. He met Madge and they were married in 1951. They moved to Casa Grande but Tim longed for the hunting and fishing opportunities in the White Mountains. They retired in Lakeside in 1978. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing and crafts of all kinds.

Tim is survived by his wife Madge of Lakeside; one son, Mike (Nora) Archibald of Gilbert; three daughters, Bille (Tony) Caputo of Phoenix, Bunnie (Terry) Meyer of Casa Grande, and Bonita (Jim) Ferguson of Marshall, Arkansas; one sister, Syble (Norm) Goutch of Couer d' Alene of Idaho; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Alta Lou Archibald.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 27 at 3 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to RTA Hospice, 5658 E. Hwy 260, Suite 5, Lakeside, AZ 85929.
