| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, September 20, 2005 Marilyn Lou Wickes, age 73, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, in Prescott. She was born Nov. 2,1931, in Newton, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Irene Carrier Robson. She married Carlin L. Wickes April 11,1953. Marilyn worked as a caregiver for Helping Hands and Caring Presence in Prescott and enjoyed helping the sick and elderly. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Cariin; a daughter, Sandra Sue Brinkerhoff of Heber City, Utah; daughter-in-law, Daria Wickes of Crown King; four grandchildren, Jamas, Jessica, Blair and Emily; two grandchildren, Kaleb Jaxon; and a twin sister, Carolyn Mote of Green Valley. She was preceded in death by a son, David. Memorial services will be on Wednesday, Sept. 21st, at 1 p.m., at Calvary Chapel of Prescott. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley and inurnment will be at Church of the Ascension in Phoenix. Memorial contributions may be sent to Calvary Chapel Children's Ministry, 2313 E. Hwy 69, Prescott, AZ 86301. The family was cared for by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home.
