Gertrude Ellen (Watson) Quain

Gertrude Ellen Quain, age 94, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, in Prescott. She was born March 18, 1911, in Evert, Mich., the daughter of William and Mary Watson.

Gertrude was a homemaker and lived in Arizona for 80 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, three brothers, two sisters, a son, a grandson and great-great-granddaughter.

She is survived by a daughter, Ester Acrey (Sirena) of Chino Valley and two sons, John of Hotchkiss, Colo., and Robert oflucson. Also surviving is her sister, Mildred Key of Garvett, Ark., and 13 grand-children, 36 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday Sept. 23, 2005, from 9-10 a.m. at Heritage Memory Mortuary. Graveside services at 11 a.m. Friday, at Chino Valley Cemetery West Road 2 South.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe. AZ 85282.
