| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, September 30, 2005 Wallace Louis (Lou) Sylvester, age 75, died on Tuesday, Sept. 27,2005, in Prescott. Lou was born on June 6, 1930, in Saugus, Mass., the son of Louis and Elizabeth (Burke) Sylvester. He married Phyllis Birchfield on April 27, 1957. Lou was employed by the Government as an Engineer. He moved to Yavapai County in 1989 and was involved in the NRA and AOPA. Lou enjoyed flying, shooting, hiking, reading and boating. Lou is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis, of 48 years; brothers, Dan and Benita Sylvester of El Centre, Calif., Roger and Jeanne Sylvester of San Diego, Calif. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent in Lou's name to YRMC Hospice, P.O. Box 26565, Prescott Valley, AZ 86312. Cremation was private at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. The family was assisted by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors. |
