Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, August 9, 2005 Oscar Jinkerson, age 75, a resident of Dewey for over 15 years, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 4 2005, surrounded by his family. He was born in 1930, in Bay City, Mich. Oscar served aboard the USS Titania during his four years military Naval Service, then settled in Northern California in the heart of the gold country. After a 32-year career at Aerojet as an aircraft engine inspector, Oscar and his wife, Barbara moved to Dewey, built their home, and retired. Oscar is survived by his wife, Barbara and children, Gary, Henry, Fornie, Gwendolyn, Carolyn, Audrey, Jacquelyn, and Howard. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at 10 a.m., at Heritage Memorial Park, in Dewey. Services entrusted to Heritage, Memory Mortuary, Prescott. Information provided by family. |
