Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 18, 2006 Bro. Vincent Faiola was born June 5, 1922, in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. Bro. Faiola peacefully passed away Sunday morning, July 9, 2006. Bro. Faiola served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was honorably discharged. He also was a journeyman machinist and a missionary to the Philippines, Africa and India. He loved to travel all over, especially the Philippines and New Jersey, to see his family. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Fiola; his mother, Louise Barbetto; his brothers, George Fiola, Michael Fiola, John Fiola and Thomas Fiola; his sister, Olga Cramer; his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Peck; and his daughter, Sephora (Sophie) Faiola. He is survived by his brothers, Fred Fiola, Cornell Fiola and Daniel Fiola of N.J.; his sister, Margie Wagner, of N.J.; his ex-wife, Isabelle Barnes; his sons, Steve Faiola and David Faiola; his daughters, Sarah Currey, Linda VanTilborg, Sharon McComack and Christina Faiola; 14 grandchildren; over 14 great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including his niece, Debbie Hartman of NJ. He loved family gatherings and talking. Bro. Vince would have loved to attend his own funeral and shake everybody's hand and thank them for coming and for all of the nice thoughts and words. He had many friends and cared about everyone. He was a loving, caring and correcting father. He stood for what he believed in and what was right. He made the most out of every day and helped anyone that he could when he could. He never wanted us to think of the day that he would not be with us, instead he touched our lives and our hearts in some way every day that he was with us. He lived 84 years and it seems his time with us was short. We shall wait and look forward to seeing you again in the sweet by and by, and sup together in eternity. Visitation is Tuesday, July 20, 2006, at Heritage Memory Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services are Friday, July 21, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Heritage Memory Mortuary.
