| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 23, 1972 Ernest S. Lyall – Funeral services for Ernest S. Lyall, age 87, who died March 13 in Community Hospital here, were held March 16 in Phoenix burial in the Greenwood Memorial Park there. Mrs. Lyall, who had farmed many years in the Salt River Valley, was born in Missouri, came to Arizona in 1887 and lived the past five years in Wickenburg. Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Rudy of Wickenburg and Mrs. Margaret Russell of Scottsdale; four sons, George R. of La Crescenta, Calif., James A. of Downey, Calif., Clarence E. of Claypool and Ernest M. of Salinas, Calif., two sisters Dallas Lyall of Phoenix and Emma Bush of Willcox; two brothers, Ross H. and W. Earl Lyall, both of Phoenix; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and six great-great-great grandchildren. |
