| Blanche Leona Powell, 89, died Aug. 3 [2003] at her home in Little Acres. She was born in Coalgate, Okla., and had lived in Arizona 52 years. She had worked at Bob's Superama in Claypool and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Willie F. "Billy" and Linda Powell of Little Acres; three daughters and sons-in-law, LaVone and Alton Stringer of Eager, Wilma and Gene Henton of Albuquerque, N.M., and Leeta and Mike Penrod of Globe; one sister, Rosie Gwinn of Coalgate; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
