Richard (Dick) Sullivan

Richard (Dick) Sullivan, age 75, of Prescott, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2005, at his home in Prescott. He was born March 26, 1930, in Santa Ana, Calif., to Joseph and Frances (Rhynalds) Sullivan.

Dick had been a resident of Prescott for the past 10 years.

Dick retired in 1992 after 40 years in the newspaper business. He enjoyed all sorts of outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his family and his pals at the American Legion Post #6.

Surviving are his brother, Ted of Prescott; his sons, Jeff of St. Croix Falls, Wis. and Scott of Davis, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in June 2005.

Dick's family will hold a private service at a later date.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
