Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona November 9, 1972 John Kinateder – Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for John George Kinateder, age 76, who owned and operated the Texas Café & Buffet here for many years prior to its destruction by fire a few years ago. Mr. Kinateder had been in ill health for some time. He died October 28 at his home here. A native of Tipton, Kan., he served in World War I and lived in Phoenix before moving to Wickenburg in the early 1940’s. After several years here, he returned to Phoenix and then came back later to resume ownership and management of the Texas Café. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club and the Elks lodge. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Mary Wohlford of Wickenburg, Mrs. Frances Gorker of Phoenix; two others out of state and three brothers, Joe of Kingman and two out of state.
