Elena (Hernandez) Vigueria

Elena Vigueria, age 81, of Prescott Valley, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005. Elena was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Jerome, to Jose Hernandez and Leonarda (Garcia) Hernandez.

She was a resident of Prescott Valley for eighteen years. Prior to moving to Prescott Valley, she lived in Aguila for a few years and Bagdad for 30 years. Elena was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Felix Roberto Vigueria.

She is survived by five children, Guillermina Hernandez and husband, Gregory, Rachel Clubb and husband, James, Arturo Vigueria and wife, Tina, Robert Vigueria, Michael Vigueria and wife, Jane, sixteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Elena, is also survived by her brothers, Enrique Hernandez, Luiz Hernandez and sister, Paz, Higinia, and Chencha.

Elena was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted herself to her family. She will be missed by family and friends.

A celebration of Elena's life begins with a visitation and Rosary on Thursday, Oct. 6. 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Heritage Memory Mortuary. The celebration will continue the next day on Oct. 7. 2005, with Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m., followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
