| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, April 6, 2004 Bernice Alma Schmidt, age 83, of Cottonwood, died April 1, 2004. She was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Sleepy Eye, Minn. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed traveling the United States. She leaves her husband of 63 years, Howard C. Schmidt; two daughters, Nancy A. and her husband, Robert Hinshaw of Prescott and Linda L. Buehanan of Prescott Valley; her brother, Curtis Sehewe of Sleepy Eye, Minn; five grandchildren and ten great grand children. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7th, in the Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery, in Dewey, at 1:30 p.m. In memoriam of Bernice, the family asks that donations be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, School Buildings Fund, 217 Walnutt Street, Southeast, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085.
