Lynelle Marie Autumn, age 56, passed away at her home in Magna, Utah, on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010. She was born to Aubrey F. Houchin and Nadine Oberlender on July 7, 1953, in San Diego, Calif.
She is survived by her three sons, Ian Vecera (wife Heather) of Folkston, Ga., Travis Eno and Cameron Eno, both of Magna, Utah; two grandchildren, Ericka Smith and Evan Vecera of Folkston, Ga.; her mother, Nadine Oberlender of Prescott, Ariz.; and one brother, Dean Anderson of San Diego, Calif.; along with several relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her father, Aubrey Franklin Houchin. and sister Marcia Blue.
Lynelle was an avid reader, gardener and seamstress. She was a family historian and spent much of her time researching genealogy. She was a 1971 graduate of Claremont Senior High in Claremont, Calif.
She was a 1984 graduate of Mueller College of Holistic Studies in massage therapy. She obtained an A.A. in general studies and fashion design from Palomar College in 1995 and a certificate of genealogy from Salt Lake Community College in 2007. Lynelle was very talented at designing clothes, accessories and other items for her friends and family. She loved to dance and listen to a variety of music as well as gardening and planting gardens for her neighbors.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2010, at 2851 Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, Calif., on De Anza Cove, with Heather Vecera officiating.
Sereni-Care Funeral Home of Draper, Utah, was in charge of cremation.
