Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, April 1, 2004 Homer Albeit Dodson was born June 15, 1922, in Friendship, New York, to Cleo Brundage Dodson and Le Durn Dodson. A decorated Army/Air Force Staff Sergeant, Homer served in the South Pacific during WWII. He married. Doris Ardis on March 1. 1946, in Bellmont, New York. The couple moved to Southern California, with their four children, in 1960. He was a dedicated father and coached Little League and Pop Wamer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. As a liaison engineer, Homer worked on the lunar module, of the Apollo Project, from 1962 through 1970. In 1988, the couple moved to Prescott where he passed on March 26, 2004, at the Margaret T. Morris Center. He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Dawn, Robin, Ben and Kelly; daughter-in-law, Tracey; grandchildren, Katie, Ralph, B.J. and Ysabel; and sisters, Jean and Laura. Sincere thanks to Tom and Tina McCowan, Dave and Gail Reese, Dan and Carol Wakeman, the staff of Margaret T. Morris, and the Prescott V.A. for their many and great kindnesses to Homer.
