George Lydolph
(October 10, 1974 - March 8, 2010)

Funeral services for Christopher George Lydolph, age 35, of York, were conducted Saturday, March 13th, at the Vining Funeral Home’s Chapel of the Valley by Pastor Kris Keyes of the Harvest Tabernacle Church of Safford. George passed away after a tragic motor vehicle accident on March 8, 2010 in San Jose.

George was born on October 10, 1974 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and is one of four children. George’s family moved here to Arizona as a young child and they lived in several different towns across the state. George received his formal education in Heber, and latter attended Morenci High School, where he graduated in 1993. During his youth, George enjoyed athletics, as he was involved in football and baseball. While attending Morenci High School, George met Natalie Madrid, the love of his life, and they dated for a year until they were married in 1995.

That same year, George joined the Army and was stationed in North Carolina and spent some time in Korea as well. In 1998, he was given an honorable discharge and returned home. While enlisted, he learned the HVAC industry and worked as an A/C Technician after his discharge. George was also known to be a great handyman. He did many things around his home and for his family and was always willing to get his hands dirty. George enjoyed spending his free time doing the things he loved, which were, hunting, fishing, shooting, watching Monster Quest on TV and most of, spending time with his family.

Most recently, George had returned to school and was seeking to obtain an education in early childhood education and become a preschool teacher. George’s best quality was being a GREAT DAD, Husband and Son. He was always making everybody laugh. He loved his family and will be remembered most for the help and assistance that he so freely and lovingly gave.

George is preceded in death by his Mother-in-Law, Cecilia Madrid. He is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Lydolph, five children, Erikah Lydolph, Nathan Lydolph, Kevin Lydolph, Eli Lydolph and Elizabeth Obregon. His Father, Christopher Lydolph; his Mother, Claudia Malm; Step-Father, Jeff Malm; Sister, Cecilia (Paul) Trujillo; Brother, Conrad Lydolph; and Sister, Corrisa Malm. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
