| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona April 2006 Gail C. Stortz, age 66. died April 6, 2004, in Prescott, Valley. She was born Nov. 7, 1937, in New York, N.Y., to Goldburn Arthur and Anna (Sofield) Fairce. Gail worked as a Department 82 specialist for Wal-Mart Department Store, for 6 years. Gail loved collecting fine things, including unbridled horses and magnets. She loved poetry, and some of her writings were published. Gail was also an avid sports enthusiast. She raised her family in Milford, Conn. Gail and her late husband, Harold Walter Storz, shared over 25 years, together, before his death in 1984. Gail is survived by her daughters, Doreen Storz of Prescott Valley, Maxine DaMato of Stratford, Conn., and Dale Storz of La Canada, Calif.; her sisters, Gladys, who was Gall's twin, Joan, Grace and Karen; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Celebration of Gail's Life will be held at 5 p.m. today, April 9, at Sunrise Funeral Home's Chapel in Prescott Valley, with visitation from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Milford, Conn. The family requests donations, in Gail's memory, be made to the American Heart Association, Arizona Affiliate, 2929 South 48th Street, Tempe, AZ 85282.
