Eddie Van Lee, 25, went home to be with the Lord
Feb. 17, 2004.

Eddie was born May 26, 1978. Eddie loved the great outdoors. He thoroughly loved hunting and fishing. His passion was hunting and he looked forward to hunting season every year. He loved being with family and taking a weekend camping trip. At the time of his death, he was a laborer building homes at his community of Cibecue.

Throughout his life, he held various types of jobs such as a Wildland Firefighter, an Emergency Medical Technician, Structure Firefighter and he worked for Salt River Project. He was a very friendly person, he always had a smile for you. He was kind and compassionate, loved his wife and children very much. Eddie will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Jeanelle Thomas Lee; two daughters Kyleigh and Mya Lee; son Ricky Van Lee; father Jerry Lee; his stepmother Corrina Lee; and his birth mother Dorthea Ivins; stepfather Philbert Ivins Sr; brothers Scott Lee, Craig Lee, Philbert Ivins Jr., Devon Ivins, Dan Ivins; sisters Jerilyn Hollye Lee and Shaya Ivins; paternal grandparents Van and Agnes Lee and his maternal grandparents Avery and Iretta Taylay. His uncles Ivan Lee, Bronson Lee Sr.,Tavis Lupe, and Brian Taylay. His aunts Brenda Gushoney, Saraphina Lee, Rebecca Cosay, Althea Littleman, Nancy Taylay Beach and Sandy Hume; godbrothers Jared Ivins, Gabriel Taylor. His Godsisters Tori Thompson, Pris Williams, Justina Cromwell, Sheila Tenas, and Keisha Narcisco; along with many, many cousins, extended families and friends.

His body will be brought back for a two night awake to Jerry Lee's residence in Cibecue, at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, and funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, at Cibecue Cottonwood Gym at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the family plot in Cibecue.
