Joseph J. Juranick

Joseph J. Juranick died Jan. 31, 2005, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1929, in New York, N.Y., the son to Anthony and Mary (Tonsa) Juranick. Joseph was 75 years old.

Joseph proudly served his country through WWII and the Korean Conflict, in the U.S. Army. He was a Lt. Col. when he left to work in the nuclear power division of Bechtel Corp. He moved to Presott Country Club in 1992.

He was a member of St. Germaine's Catholic Church and Local # 409 Union. He enjoyed fishing in Baja and prospecting in the White Mountains.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Tommie; daughter, Annemaria (Dan) Allen of Escondido, Calif.; step-daughter, Linda (Marc) Prellwitz of Auburn, Wash.; and grandchildren, Kyle and Danielle.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 3, at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, 7997 Dana, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

The family suggests memorials to Carmelites, 89 Hiddenbrooke Drive, Beacon, N.Y. 12508.

Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
