Lottie M. (Winters) Rossman

Lottie M. Rossman, age 97, died Jan. 29, 2005, in Prescott. She was born April 27, 1907, in Baxter Springs, Kan., to William and Dessie (Whitehill) Winters.

Lottie grew up in Baxter Springs, Kan., and moved to Pomona in 1945, residing there until 2002, when she moved to Prescott to live with her son. She was a member of Pomona First Baptist Church in California for 54 years and taught Sunday School there. Lottie was the Treasurer/President of the Pomona Valley Single Parents Club and very active in the Republican Party.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Clare Rossman; son Bill, and two great-grandsons, Bryce and Michael.

Lottie is survived by her son, Leiand (Lee) of Prescott; daughters, Helen of Redlands, Calif., and Joyce of Ontario, Calif.; sister, Ethel of Carls Junction, Kan.; 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

A Commemoration service, in honor of Lottie, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Pomona Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona, Calif.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Lottie's memory to Hospice Family Care, 100 East Sheldon Street #100, Prescott, Ariz., 86301.

The family was cared for by Sunrise Funeral Home and Cermatory in Prescott.
