| Former area resident Coy Buford Splane, 65, of Show Low died Sept. 11 [2003] on Forest Service Road 229 in Coconino County near Happy Jack. He was a Navy veteran and worked as a foreman in the copper mines before retiring and moving to Show Low six years ago. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Splane of Show Low; one son, Jerry Splane of Globe; one daughter, Joni Splane of Show Low; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Fletcher's Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements. |
