Edward Foster, 87, of Chino Valley, Ariz., born March 25, 1917, in Lonesome Dove, Texas, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, in Chino Valley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at Chino Valley Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at St. Catherine LaBoure Catholic Church in Chino Valley, Ariz.

Graveside services will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

Edward R. Foster, age 87, of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away at his home on March 6, 2005. He was born on March 25, 1917, in Lonesome Dove, Texas.
Eddie retired as an electrician from Santa Fe Railroad. He loved horses and riding, enjoyed hunting, and was an avid horseshoe player. Eddie had a great sense of humor, was kind and generous, and loved his family very much.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, and their children, sons, George Foster and Lynn Rehm, both of Meadview; daughters, Gayle Morris of Surprise, Kaycee Barker of Arizona, Cheryl Breuckel of Morepark, Calif., and Beverly Santo of Prescott. Eddie was a grandfather of 26 and great-grandfather of 24. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Bertie Foster.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 8th, from 5-7 p.m., at Chino Valley Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held today, March 9, at 10 a.m., at St. Catherine LaBoure Catholic Church in Chino Valley. Graveside services will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Prescott.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Chino Valley Food Bank, P.O. Box 837, Chino Valley, AZ 86323.
