Lavina Susan (Freeman) Allen

Lavina Susan Allen died March 9, 2005, at YRMC in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Berwick, Pa. She was the daughter of Elmer B. and Beulah K. (Cragle) Freeman.

Lavina is survived by her daughters, Saundra Wellington of Prescott, Judith Pomp of Orange, Calif., Patricia (Bernie) Swanick of Helendale, Calif., and Sharon Kruger of Germany; her son, David (Sandra) Aliien of Arlington, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Alice Forno of San Jose, Calif. Lavina was preceded in death by her husband, Herber, July 9,2004.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 14, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton.

A Celebration of Lavina's Life will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, with burial at the Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, Arizona.
