The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/02/2004 Earnest Fredrick Havens, 65, died Monday, June 28, 2004 in Show Low. Earnest loved the Lord, and had ministered at Calvary Chapel in Lakeside. He was a carpenter by trade. He worked for Lahner Haven Construction. His hobbies included camping, hunting and fishing. Just to be in the woods was a favorite pastime. He loved the outdoors. Earnest is survived by his wife Betty J. Havens of Show Low; two sons, Michael Jerome Havens, Earnest Fredrick Havens, III both of California; five daughters Patricia Kapera of Utah, Mary Gearhart of California, Kim Trent of California,Laura Lutz of California, Susie Havens of California; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Havens of California; two brothers, Harold Havens of California, Richard Havens of Arizona; and one sister Hallie Sue Smith of California.
