| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/13/2004 Minnie Ruth Avent died July 4, 2004 in Phoenix. She was born Jan. 6, 1962 in Jamestown, Michigan. Ruth was a member of the Altar Guild at the Episcopal Church of our Saviour and the Senior Police Patrol for the Show Low Police Department. She was a past president of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Church of Our Saviour. She is survived by her sons Mark Avent of San Diego, California, Thornton Avent of Tempe, ; her grandchildren Hunter, Aaron, and Lea; brother Albert TerHaar of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and her sister Genevieve Blom of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Memorial Services will be held July 14 at 11 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of our Savior, 5147 Show Low Lake Road, Show Low. See Also: Find A Grave |
