Randy Umbaugh, 42, of Fountain, Colorado, died Sunday, June 27, a victim of a drowning accident.

He was born in Phoenix, and graduated from Lake Havasu High School. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1994. He had a lifelong passion for mountain trail riding, woodworking, automobile restoration, and helping friends with projects.

Randy's passion for life was evident through the love he showed not only to his family but everyone he knew. He encouraged and guided those around him and was always there with a helping hand. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Anne Warren of Clay Springs; stepfather, Michael Warren; father, Art Umbaugh; sister, Terri Vermillion; loving companion, I-Pun; her two sons, David and Christopher; two grandsons, Tristan and Kylin; and his adoring cat, Backway.
