| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 16, 2005 Lester Jernigan, age 72, of Yarnell, Ariz. died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Little Eden Care Home in Cottonwood, Ariz. Lester was born in Phoenix, Ariz. on June 1, 1932. He was preceded in death by his father, James Garfield Jernigan; mother, Lura Jane Woody; sister, Una Melvina Logsdon (Jackie) and wife, Toni Susan Jernigan. Lester is survived by his brother, Luther Jernigan; sister, Viola (Edward) Gaddis of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his children, Connie (Ben) Harrison, James (Sheila) Jernigan, Beth Mardis, Toni Baker, Luke Jernigan, all live in Kansas. He is also survived by stepchildren, Carole Kimbler (Frank), Daren Taylor, Steven Taylor, all live in Arizona, and many grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Hampton Funeral Home, 240 South Cortez St. in Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by the survivors. |
