Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 20, 1961 p. 5 Friday Services For William Amos William Amos, 65, former Wickenburg resident, was found dead at approximately 6:30 p. m. Monday in an ore conveyor belt at the Bagdad Copper Corp. mine in that town where he had worked for the past 16 ½ years. Cause of the death is being investigated. Funeral services will be held at 4 p. m. today (Friday) in the Wickenburg Chapel with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Amos was born February 29, 1896, in Arkansas. Surviving are the widow Leota; the mother, Mrs. Lily Amos, of Durant, Okla.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Merle Milham Cedaredge, Colo.; one step-son, Melvin Hamrick of Phoenix; and two brothers and two sisters who reside in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
