| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 26, 2000, p. A16 Benjamin “Jake” Canyon Thomas of Wickenburg died Jan. 18, 2000. He was 17. “Jake” was born Feb. 26, 1982 at home in Wickenburg. His spirit and specialness has touched the lives of many. He will be missed by many loving friends and family. His family thanks their loving Father for sharing his incredible life with them, and they find comfort knowing he now walks with Jesus. Survivors include his father Morton S. Thomas III; mother and stepfather Debra Jo and Paul Wright, Jr.; brother Morton S. Thomas Iv; sisters July and Jaimie Thomas and stepsister Cody Waddell; nephew Monte Dowdy and Hunter Waddell; maternal grandparents George and Vivian Wilkins; maternal great-grandmother Lorene Seaman; paternal grandmother Dorothy Thomas; aunt Becky Wilkins; uncle George and aunt Kim Wilkins and their sons George and R.J.; aunt Stephanie Kirkendahl and her son Stefan; uncle Ron and aunt Nancy Thomas and their children Colleen, Ronny and Craig; aunt Suzy and uncle Tom Winzeler and their daughter Courtney and son Brad Smith; and uncle Brad Thomas and his son Brad and daughter Jessica. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan 21 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Wickenburg. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements. |
