Janet (Wessale) Bosh

Janet Wessale Bosh passed away on June 20, 2008, at her home in Prescott. She was born on Dec. 16, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Frank and Lila (Brunius) Wessale.

Janet enjoyed painting, knitting, stitching and baking. She authored several articles published in national magazines about country living in rural Iowa. Janet will be remembered by her family for her unconditional love and generous heart. Her love of animals was demonstrated through the endless adoptions of homeless and needy animals whether it was a stray dog or a wounded bird.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Beulah Hawley; and brothers, Robert and John Wessale.

Janet is survived by Frank, her husband of 59 years; her daughters, Joni Bosh (Rob Smith) of Phoenix, Laura Nash (Rick) of Scottsdale and Christa Simmons (Rowle) of Prescott; and grandchildren, Joseph Prekup, Megan and Jeff Nash, and Frank and Carl Smith.

The family would like to thank Granite Mountain Hospice for their support during her final illness.

Services will be private. Family suggests memorials to The Yavapai Human Society.

Services entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home.
