Mary Helen White, 70, of Prescott, Ariz., born Jan. 12, 1938, in Sanford, Fla., died June 21, 2008, at Willow Wind in Prescott, Ariz.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Kingdom Hall, 3000 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, followed by an 11 a.m. graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, make donations in her name to Heritage Park Zoo, 1403 Heritage Park Road, Prescott, AZ 86301.

Mary, or as everyone knew her as Helen White, passed away on June 21, 2008 at Willow Wind in Prescott, Arizona. Helen was born January 12, 1938 to George & Nettie Wilson in Sanford, Florida. As a young child she lived in Willowbrook and Lucerne Valley California and also in Placerville, California where she had fond memories of her mother reading to her. Helen was very involved in church activites growing up.After graduating, Helen became a bank bookkeeper for Security First National Bank and also worked for Sears catalog store. Helen was a proud member of The National Honors Society Kappa Delta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma. She married and moved to Big Bear Lake, California in 1963 where her first daughter was born, later moving to Barstow, California where her son was born in 1966. Moving to Currant, Nevada and then to Ely in 1970, she enjoyed many camping vacations with her family and bought horses where she would later learn to shoe, ride and do horse shows with her daughter. Helen was very proud of her church and went to many conventions including seeing "Kiss me Kate" in Catalina Island in Los Angeles. She enjoyed making her own clothing and baked goods like bread, canned fruit, jelly and raised vegetables. Helen did alot of volunteer work with head start, children's miracles network, bi-triathelon, and bowl for kids. A great accomplishment in 2004, Helen received an associates of Arts Degree with honors of which she was very proud. Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Helen White is survived by son- Timothy White of Alaska, daughter Sharon Bonorden of Weldon, California and grandchildren Cody, Warren and Lillie.
