Rites Wednesday For Thomas E. Fish

Death took from the community this week a resident of the past ten years, Thomas E. Fish, who passed away Monday morning at the age of 81.

He was an old age pensioner and resided in a cabin built for him by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hann on their property in the Reed Addition.

Mr. Fish came to Wickenburg from Phoenix where for more than 20 years he had been engaged in the grocery business. Prior to that time he was similarly engaged in New Orleans, La. While a resident of Wickenburg he did considerable prospecting in the hills but had not been active in recent years.

A native of Michigan, Mr. Fish had lost all touch with members of his family, having told Mr. and Mrs. Hann recently that his last contact with any of his relatives had been in 1938.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Wickenburg Chapel, conducted by Rev. Ross Cleeland of the Presbyterian church, with burial in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
