Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct. 12, 1945, p. 1 Pioneer Arizonian Dies At Home Here Funeral services were held in St. Anthony's church here Monday morning of this week for Mrs. Francisca Salazar Molina, 73-yearold native of Arizona. who passed away at her home in Wickenburg the previous Friday. Father Lawrence J. Sullivan conducted the services and burial was in the Wickenburg cemetery. Mrs. Molina was born in Florence, Arizona, and was the daughter of Mateo Salazar, one of the first settlers of the Florence district, having trekked across the southern Arizona deserts from Sonora Mexico, in the early days. Before moving to Wickenburg in 1926, the Molina family resided in Morristown for many years where most of the children grew up. Mrs. Molina is survived by her husband, Teddy Molina; four daughters, Mrs.Carmen Garcia of Wickenburg; Mrs. Aurora Deck of Phoenix; Mrs. Juanita Cassillas of San Bernardino. Calif., and Mrs. Laura Kicielinski of Los Angeles . Three sons also survive: Ted Joseph and Henry Charles of Wickenburg and Alfred F., of Mill Valley, Calif. A fourth son, Pfc. Abram John Molina died in a hospital in Germany after participating in the invasion of Normandy, in which he was wounded, and across in France and Germany. See Also: Find a Grave |
