| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 26, 1973 Walter Jacob Martin, 83, of Wickenburg was pronounced dead at the Wickenburg Community Hospital July 17. Born in Lexington, Missouri, Mr. Martin had been a resident of Wickenburg for the past 11 years. Prior to coming to Wickenburg he was active as a logger. He is survived by his wife May; two sons, Robert Martin of Henderson, Nevada, and Gordon Martin of Wickenburg; two daughters, Mrs. Pete Davis, Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Charles Criley, Mercer Island, Washington; a twin brother, William C. Martin and a sister Mrs. Luella Dunn, both of Bedford, Iowa. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home, the Rev. W. Howard blazer officiating. Burial was in Wickenburg Cemetery. See Also: Find A Grave |
