Lawrence L. (Jack) Blodgett, 65, of Wickenburg died July 27 at the VA Hospital in Tucson.

Born near Fall City, Nebraska, Jan. 7, 1908, he moved to Arizona from California in 1956.

He was a veteran of World War II and had served as a member of the Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department, Wheatland, Wyo.

He is survived by his wife Myrtle of Wickenburg; a step son, James Foster of Breaux Bridge, La.; two Step daughters, Mrs. Betty Louise Blodgett, Denver and Mrs. June Watts, Omaha, Nebraska.

He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, and 7 grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, in Wheatland, Wyo.
