| October 11, 1973 Salome – Services for Mattie Lou Chambers 59, who died October 4 in her home here, was held Tuesday in the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery A native of Clayton N.M., who had lived in Mesa for 19 years before moving to Salome last year. Mrs. Chambers was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and the First Presbyterian Church in Mesa. Survivors include her husband, Rex; a son, Robert B. of Mesa; a daughter, Mrs. Lee Sweetland of Salome; a brother and a sister out of state; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
