Mrs. Charlotte Pouquette, 83, a member of the Arizona Wool Growers Association, died Sunday in Chandler.
Mrs. Pouquette was born in Ventura, California, and was taken to France by her parents as an infant. After returning to Arizona, her late husband was owner of Sitgreaves, Shepherd Co. that operated in Wickenburg and Williams.
Survivors include three sons, Robert of Chandler, Frank of Goodyear and Pete of Williams; three daughters Alma Pouquette of Askfork, Mrs. Catherine Bowie of Tempe and Mrs. Aimee Simpson of Wickenburg; a sister and two brothers, all of France; nine grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Rosary was recited Tuesday in the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was said Wednesday in St. Anthony’s Church. Burial will be in the New Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles.
