| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 17, 1974, p. 14 Hazel Thompson, 77, of Wickenburg, died January 3 in San Jose, California. Born March 23, 1896, Mrs. Thompson and her late husband moved to Wickenburg in 1957 from Tularosa, New Mexico. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Thompson was a 5th grade teacher in Wickenburg. She was a member of the OES Hassayampa Chapter No. 35, the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg and the World War II Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Arthur of San Jose, California (who she was visiting at the time of her death) and Donald of Bakersfield, California; one daughter, Alice Thomas of Steam boat Springs, Colorado, several grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church January 8 with Rev. Howard Blazer officiating. Burial was in Wickenburg Cemetery. See Also: Find A Grave |
