| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, July 5, 2008 Gladys L. Crews, age 97, passed away June 30, 2008. She was born Dec. 11, 1910, in Belleville, Kan., to Archie and Lena (Oberly) Hoa-gland. She married her late husband Delbert Crews Aug. 30, 1934; he passed away in 1992. She was a country schoolteacher and a homemaker. She was also a member of First Christian Church of Glendale, Ariz., and First Christian Church of Phoenix, Ariz. Gladys is survived by her children, Judy Berry (Dennis) of Prescott, Ariz., and Connie Cross (Jim) of Burbank, Calif.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6230 W. Northern Ave. Glendale, Ariz. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors. |
