Fred Lee Bristow

Fred L. Bristow Sr. - Passed away on April 13 from complications from a fall, he was 80 years young, as he was fond of saying.

He came to Prescott in 1933 with his family from Montana at age 6.

His wife, Virginia of 57 years and his three children survives him, Fred Bristow Jr. and his wife Vicki, Dale Bristow and Alice Meyer and her husband Mike, 10 grandchildren, Josh Bristow and his wife Jess, Wayne Bristow, Jessica Halliburton and husband Bo, Cassidy Bristow, Kyle, Kelsey, Maggie and Isaac Meyer; four great grandchildren, Caleb Bristow, Baylee, Teeghan and Dane Halliburton.

Fred served in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean conflict.

Fred loved to play Santa Claus for local children and charities for 20 plus years. Fred enjoyed traveling, camping and his passion was fishing during the many summers he spent in Montana.

He was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arizona Pioneer Home and northern Arizona Vision and Hearing Center.
