| Newspaper Unknown, Smith County, Texas June 1951 Funeral Rites Held for Homer Ethel Shivers, 75 year old native Texas. Mr. Shivers died last Thursday on his farm, southeast of town. A retired farmer, Mr. Shviers was well known in this section of the county. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Joe of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Wade of Fort Worth, and Wallace of Grand Saline; one brother, Vernie Mills Shivers of Prescott, Ariz, and three sister, Mrs. Helen Crone of Dallas, and Mrs. Ida Kuykendall and Mrs. Bea Harrison, both of Grand Saline (Texas). |
