Jack Muir Tenney passed away in Santa Rosa, Calif., on Saturday, March 12, 2005, from complications of cancer. Jack was born in Oceanside, Calif., on April 10, 1936, to Jack R. and Clara Lines Tenney.

Jack is survived by his precious wife of 15 years, CoDele Tenney; dear father of Nola Spice of Roy, Utah, Loralyn Hogewoning of La Mesa, Calif., Rebecca Goodrich of Lindon, Utah, Jacquelyn Abernathy of Santee, Calif., Pamela Jarvis of Bountiful, Utah, and R. Clark Tenney of Tokyo, Japan; stepfather of Janet Cook of Acampo, Calif., Joleen Hughes of Calistoga, Calif., Kevin Roos of Provo, Utah, and Maryn Roos of Provo, Utah, and many other relatives. He and CoDele have 34 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jacqueline Butchart and Faith Hartzog, and his daughter, Cherylyn Klvacek.

Jack received a bachelor?s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a master?s degree in Public Administration from USC. The majority of Jack?s professional career was spent as a general contractor in the Santa Rosa area. Jack was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His love of life and the laughter, happiness, and service he brought to others will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services were held in Santa Rosa, Calif. Private interment was at Bennett Valley Cemetery.
