Mamie I. Rice, 72, of Prescott, Ariz., died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at the Las Fuentes Care Center in Prescott. She was born Sept. 30, 1932, to Johnson and Edna Irving in Gisela, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dora L. Harvey. She is survived by her husband, Stanhope Rice Sr.; sons, Stan Rice Jr. of Prescott, David Rice of Chandler; daughters, Debra Russell of Prescott, Donna Cluck of Barrigada, Guam, and Denise Rice of Flagstaff; brothers, Charles Irving of Prescott, Harvey Irving of Phoenix and Martin Randal of San Carlos, Ariz.; sister, Drah Logan of San Carlos, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held today, Sunday, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., Prescott, with a funeral service to be held Monday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 1455 Willow Creek Road, Prescott. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mamie I. Rice to the Hospice Family Care.
