Thomas Henry Williams, 71, died Nov. 9, 2004, at home in Show Low.

Thomas was born April 17, 1933 in Norman, Oklahoma but moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, at age two where he was raised by his Aunt Mary and Uncle Henry. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War. After the war he returned to Idaho where he attended Barber School in Boise. He moved to Laramie, Wyoming and met Mary Lou Vigil. They were married July 6, 1959, and had a daughter, Teresa.

Thomas bought his own barber shop and was the sole proprietor for nearly 15 years. In his later years, Thomas and Mary Lou moved to Scottsdale and eventually migrated to Show Low. He loved the pine trees and cool weather. In his spare time Thomas liked to play golf. He will be dearly missed.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of Show Low; daughter Teresa (Paul) Beintema of Merino, Colorado; sister Elaine Kanatzar of Arvada, Colorado; brother Robert (Lucy) Williams of Austin, Texas; and two grandchildren, Allison and Melissa.
