The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 11/19/2004 Harold Arthur "Bud" Evers, beloved husband, father, and grandfather died suddenly Saturday, Nov. 13 of natural causes, in Redmond, Oregon. He was 74 years old. Bud was born June 27, 1930 in Waterbury, Connecticut to William John Evers and Mabel Eva (Noble) Evers. Bud married Elisabeth Matilda "Tillie" Clark in Waterbury, Connecticut May 29, 1952. During their fifty-two years of marriage they lived on ranches in many western states and in Florida. Bud was a saddle and boot maker and the former owner and operator of the "Cincha-n-Spur" in Springerville. They lived in Redmond, Oregon for the last seven years. Bud was a jack-of-all-trades, but those he loved most had to do with horses: saddle maker, working cowboy, horseshoer, wagon maker, and horseman. Private services were held with close family and friends in attendance. Bud is survived by his wife, Tillie of Redmond; sons, Harold A. Evers, Jr. (Becky) of Eagar, and John W. Debbie) Evers of Fruitland, Idaho; daughters, Sharon A. (Bill) Allen of Hudson, WI, and Amy Evers of Redmond; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Della M. Voegeli of Woodbury, Connecticut and Arlene L. Bergen of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William W. Evers, Sr. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals LCC, Bend, Oregon. |
