Marlin Treadaway, age 88, passed away on Feb. 2, 2005. He was born on June 13, 1916, in Morganton, Ark.

In 1943, he and his family moved to Morenci, Ariz., where he worked for Phelps Dodge Corporation until his retirement in 1978. He and his wife spent 23 years in Prescott, before moving to Baptist Village, Youngtown, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Hazel; three children, Glen (Joan) of Prescott, Janice (Archie) Stephens and Carolyn (Everett) Miller of Phoenix; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Rice of Youngtown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Sun City, 11019 West Peoria Avenue. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Mission Projects Fund at the Church.
