McCarroll Dies Berniece McCarroll, wife of the late John McCarroll, former editor and publisher of the Wickenburg Sun, died Tuesday, Jan 25 at Wickenburg Community Hospital. Funeral Details are not available at press time. The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 2, 1978, p. 14 BERNIECE McCARROLL The former co-publisher of The Wickenburg Sun, Berniece R. McCarroll, 71, died last week in the Wickenburg Community Hosptial. She and her husband, the last John McCarroll, came to Wickenburg in 1944 and published The Sun until selling it in 1973. She was born in Lenox, Ia. Surviving are a niece; a nephew, and two sisters-in-law. Services were last week in St. Alban’s Episcopal Church here. |
