Paul V. Welly, age 85, died Feb. 5, 2005, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born Feb. 8, 1919, to Charles J. and Louise Welly in Edgerton, Williams County, Ohio.

He was raised on a farm in Ohio, moved west and worked in Cleator, Ariz., until drafted for WWII.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from Oct. 10, 1942, until Oct. 9, 1945. He moved to Prescott in 1963, where he worked as an Auto Mechanic for many years.

He is preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Allen, and his wife and love, Janet.

He is survived by his second wife Peggy; two sons, Charles (Chuck) of Cottonwood and Mike of Albuquerque, N,M.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He will be buried next to his wife, Janet in Edgerton, Ohio.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Feb. 9, 2005, with private services for family and close friends at 11 a.m., at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave. Prescott.
